About Me

Hello! I’m Jordan Moffat and I am an esports color analyst for primarily League of Legends, Pokémon UNITE, and VALORANT. I also do work as a social media manager, NFL Draft Analyst, Twitch streamer, broadcast & digital reporter, content creator, and podcast producer.

🌉 Background:

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, but also spent a lot of time growing up in Hawai’i on the island of Oahu. I’m a proud hapa (Filipino and White) and preferred pronouns are he/him/his/they/them/theirs. I am extremely passionate about esports and have been following the professional League of Legends scene since I was 12 years old, attending my first event on my 15th birthday. I decided to pursue a career as a color analyst while in college when I realized that I have a knack for explaining the game in terms for people who have little to no esports knowledge. I believe my unique background in traditional sports fandom offers a unique perspective in the esports space.

I started doing NFL Draft Analysis at the age of 15, producing mock drafts, player profiles, and player rankings for personal pleasure. I still do those things, but now for basketball, esports, and other sports as well. Studying and writing about a new player’s rise to stardom is my favorite part of sports.

🌱 Professional Goals:

My ultimate goal in life is to be a color commentator on the League of Legends World Championship broadcast, representing whatever region would have me. I follow all 4 major regions as well as regional leagues, amateur, academy, and emerging regions, but I dream to be a color analyst for the LEC (European League) or the LPL (Chinese League). I’m particularly inspired by Eefje ‘sjokz’ Depoortere, Sam' ‘kobe’ Hartman-Kenzler, Daniel Drakops, Marc Robert ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, and Georgia ‘Troubleinc’ Paras and try to emulate them in my casting.

In my time at Arizona State I became social media manager for ASU League of Legends, producing content and making memes to engage and bring in more attention to the nonfunded program. Since taking over, we’ve seen an overall increase in viewership on Twitch streams and engagement on social media. I fell in love with social media through this, and I would love to create more banger copypastas and memes for an organization. I also spent time working as a multimedia journalist for multiple outlets, bringing in new content about esports to a more traditional sports focused audience.
